教学时间:40分钟
学情分析:
学生在小学阶段已经接触过why引导的问句及because引导的原因陈述句,对该知识点并不陌生,故本课对这一知识点的处理主要是巩固运用。对于后两个用于比较的语法点,鉴于学生已学过的形容词的比较级和最高级,可以首先加以回顾,然后再引入本课知识点加以区分,便于理解。同时让学生完成与本节课语法相关的练习。至于更深层次的拓展学习和实际运用,将会在以后的课时中继续完成。
教学目标: 1. 使学生掌握并学会使用why提问原因,并用because回答原因;了解because引导的原因状语从句;
2. 掌握由(not) as…as 构成的比较状语从句,用来比较在某方面相同或相似的事物。
3. 学会用like、the same as、different from来比较事物。
教学环节:

step1:greeting&warming up
(3mins) 设置语境,通过问题唤起原有知识的记忆,自然引入本课话题。 greet and bring up some questions to the ss. greet and try to answer the teacher’s questions with because.
step2:introduction&summary
(5mins) 通过让学生观察why和because的用法,引导学生归纳总结语言规律。 introduce the useage of why and because to the ss; analyze the difference between because and because of. try to summarize the useage of why and because under the teacher’s introductions.
step3:application&exercises
(5mins) 利用课本中的练习a1,让学生通过两人拍档运用why和because完成句子,巩固所学的语法规则。 (1) have the ss work in pairs to complete exercises a1and ask 6 pairs of ss to show their answers.
(2) give exercises a2 to the ss as their after-class practice. (1) finish exercises a1 in pairs.
(2) use the information in a1 to complete a2.

(3mins) 引导学生回顾形容词比较级和最高级的用法,引入本课所要学的同级比较。 ask the ss to recall the adjectives’ comparative and superlative; and introduce (not) as…as… review the comparative and superlative forms with the teacher.

(8mins) 利用例句及练习题(p104)加深学生对于本语法点的理解和运用. analyze the key points to use (not) as…as:
